ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Gail, cake designer and baker based in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

I’ve baked for as long as I can remember, and what started as a wee girl helping mum bake scones and biscuits eventually became the ever-more-elaborate requests for my own children's birthday cakes.

Somewhere along the way, I discovered sugar flowers and I was hooked! Many hours of learning, experimenting and perfecting my skills developed into a passion for the eye-catching, delicious wedding cakes and handcrafted flowers I create today.

 

I love meeting couples, hearing their story and their wedding dreams, and working with them to transform all of that into their very own once-in-a-lifetime cake.

When I’m not behind the mixer, I love running (more tortoise than hare), wild swimming, live music, and curling up on the sofa with a coffee. Actually, I love being almost anywhere with a coffee.
